Birds too are Amongst the Endangered Species List

Birds of the air are some of the most magnificent creations.  They are beautiful and in their course of duty do not at any moment interfere with human being lifestyle at all.  Birds are one of the most vulnerable species in the world, currently topping the endangered species list.  Birds find themselves here because they are wild and nobody unless by given authority keeps a tag on them.  As the human number grows so does the vegetation and breeding areas for birds disappear.

Birds like wood stork, that are known to dwell in swamps and marsh areas are relatively few in number as their numbers continue to drop due to destruction of their dwellings.  People keep tearing down their homes as they clear the available spaces for construction purposes. This has not gone well with this particular of bird whose dwelling place is in the swamps literally.

Birds due to their migratory nature also have been affected by human being destroying their migration pattern.   This has been caused by climatic changes.  The Flamingoes of Lake Nakuru are amongst the endangered species.  Due to the massive climatic change and the drying of the lake, these beautiful birds that lived around this lake for years died in their numbers or were killed by hunters for other reasons.

Birds are at total loss of what to do.  This is because human beings now have a lot of domesticated animals that remain a threat to their well being even in the wild.  Birds like pegions for a long time have remained as domesticated birds.  But cats and dogs keep chasing them around or even feed on them for food.  With these in mind, the bird population continues to drop drastically thereby causing worry and untold solutions.

The solution to save the endangered species amongst us, wholly depends on us.  It is imperative not to abuse nature but take care of the animals that have lived with man for a number of considerable years.  Lets take care of nature and not destroy the beautiful birds around us.  History will not forgive us.
